You can’t dabble in game shows and comedy sketches forever when it comes to Hollywood. And Wayne Brady, one of the most talented singers and general entertainers in Hollywood today, is certainly no exception.
Hence he joined up with ABC Family to create the movie The List, a romantic comedy starring Brady and Tamiia Poiter, daughter of the famed actor Sydney Poiter. The List is the story of Lewis, a man who’s madly in love with his girl. However he finds himself dumped by her on live television, and, heartbroken, he decides he needs to be very specific about the kind of girl he wants.
So Lewis writes a list of things he wants in a girl, a list of the elements present in his ‘perfect partner’. And, sure enough, after a bit of searching he comes across Camille, who fits his ideals perfectly. That said, though, can he manage to woo her and make their relationship work?
The List is another feel-good movie for the romantics out there, and a good popcorn muncher on a Saturday night.
